Deems Equipment started as a John Deere business in 1939. Since that time, the Deems family has expanded to Lawrence, Kansas in 1954, Marshall, Missouri in 1962, and Nevada, Missouri in 1981. All three of the dealerships are still operating with a connection to the Deems family.

 

Deems Equipment of Butler; Inc. operates a first class dealership. We have been operating in a 22,000 square foot building that was built in 1967. Constructed on a 10acre lot, we are located on Business 71 Hwy South in Butler, Missouri.

 

Lelan Deems, son Gary Deems, daughter Gayl Bartimus, and son-in-law Gary Bartimus are operating the Butler dealership and qualify as a John Deere Super Service Dealership.

 

Deems at Butler also handles several short line products.

Deems Equipment of Nevada opened in 1981. Since then, we have grown into a full line dealership.
